simple spring fashion staple
It’s cold in Tahoe. In fact, I’m sitting in bed sporting pajamas and wool socks wrapped in a fuzzy blanket. So I’m looking forward to Spring because this girl needs a little fashion inspiration.
I looked at this year’s runway collections. Sidebar… why are so many of the looks absolutely ridiculous? I know it’s art and all that, but tell me, what woman with 3 kids is wearing sheer joggers with a g-string to the grocery store… or in fact anywhere? Jeez….
Okay, that was my short rant, let’s get back on track. I was actually really excited to see on Who What Wear that the basic maxi dress is IN. How amazing is that!!! Just throw it on and you’re good to go. With work, motherhood, or even grand-motherhood well..., simple is definitely better. I told Mom about this trend, and she was totally pumped too. She especially loves the longer lengths because her legs are so pasty in the Spring (her words not mine). So it seems that the simple maxi had a multi-generational, universal appeal.
Therefore...ladies have no fear! This Spring we have fashion AND ease, which in my book is the perfect combination.
