easter eggstravaganza

This is the first Easter where I’ve lived in the same town as a grandchild, and boy, it changes everything. Usually, I’d purchase some tulips at the grocery store or splurge on fresh flowers scattered around the house. But no more. This year I went for it and bought huge bunnies that greet guests as they enter the house.

When my grandson saw these ginormous rabbits for the first time, he stood between them and said, “Hi, I’m Finn. What’s your names?” Right then and there, my heart almost burst. How precious is the imagination of a child? Seriously, it’s EVERYTHING!!!!

Along with the big bunnies, I decorated the dining table with eggs galore and two smaller bunnies in the same vein as the big ones. In addition, I added eggs to Kate’s St. Patty’s tablescape, which was a huge timesaver. With fresh flowers sprinkled around the house….well, it’s an Easter eggstravaganza fit for my precious little grandson! I feel so honored and excited that I get to see the miracle of Easter through his eyes and revel in God’s hope and promise.
