When Kate and I started Sisi Dira we decided that any topic with a political bent was off the table. After all, our goal was to find commonalities between women and build a community where we unite- not divide. We stand by that decision; however, we believe the events that occurred at the United States Capitol are not political, and the actions of rioters do not represent the voice of law abiding citizens no matter their political beliefs. 

So we want to change the conversation away from division and negativity to healing, helping, and caring for others.
