rooms we love: dana bowen

*Meet Sisi Sister Dana. Her dining room is a real jaw dropper so we were so excited that she allowed us to feature the space as March’s room of the month! 

Our Hampton style dining room was designed for gathering with the love of family and friends in mind. It’s a room that is light and airy, but also welcoming with a warm cozy feel! Our beautiful barrel vaulted ceiling with brick and cedar beams adds ambience with floor to ceiling windows that brings the outdoors in for a relaxed dining experience.

As for decor...we selected a rustic table large enough to sit several guests. We truly enjoy sharing a meal and believe that such simple acts create strong relationships. 

In addition, our home is built on a wooded lot surrounded by a creek that encompasses our entire home. Therefore, we decided to incorporate a fireplace right outside the dining room that provides extra sitting where we can enjoy more time with the people we love.
