make plans. god laughs.

I’ll make this post short and sweet. We all know the saying , “Make plans, God laughs.” Well, after 54 years of living I should know this truth in every cell of my body. But it doesn’t change the fact that I had a list a mile long...work, adventures, remodeling...you guys get the gist. This summer was going to be awesome and productive. 

You might have noticed that Sisi Dira became quiet suddenly. Clearly the productive summer has come to a neck breaking halt because… life happens. I was diagnosed with thyroid cancer, which means doctors appointments, tests etc… By the way, this was not on my mile long list! The great news, I have amazing surgeons and doctors who have an awesome grasp on my medical care, and most importantly, I’m confident I will be fine. I’m having my thyroid removed on Wednesday the 23rd- yep, tomorrow. So I’ll be out of pocket enjoying some good old R&R for a few weeks.

Luckily, my work team is the best. I know some people say this, but I really, really mean it. The ball will continue to roll in the best direction, and Sisi Dira is back posting because of their help. Thank you Kate, Karen, Ashley, and Giana! I know this sounds sappy, but guys it’s true. Life is good, I am thankful, I am blessed.
